GMA Pinoy TV, the flagship international channel of GMA Network and the home of Global Pinoys, earned a triple victory at the 2025 Migration Advocacy and Media Awards (MAM). The latest awards underscore GMA Pinoy TV's enduring commitment to creating and producing meaningful and empowering stories of Filipinos across the globe.
Leading the list of winners is the GMA Public Affairs program "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" (KMJS). A consistent top-rater, the program is hosted by the country's award-winning and most trusted broadcast journalist, Jessica Soho. KMJS won the Best Episodic Program (Magazine Show) in the Television Journalism Award category for its "Hello, Love, Dubai!" feature.
Two original series produced by GMA Pinoy TV were also recognized at the 2025 MAM: "I Speak Pinoy" and "Stronger Together: GMA Pinoy TV Podcast."
"I Speak Pinoy," GMA Pinoy TV's original info capsule series, aims to be a cultural bridge between Filipino migrants and their roots, showcasing Philippine heritage through language. The digital series is an educational tool that explains Filipino words and phrases, and translates them into the ten major Filipino languages: Tagalog, Ilocano, Panggalatok, Kapampangan, Bicol, Bisaya, Waray, Ilonggo, Cebuano, and Maguindanao. It was named Best Interstitial also in the Television Journalism Award category.
"Stronger Together: GMA Pinoy TV Podcast" is GMA Pinoy TV's original audio series. Hosted by Toni Pua, the program offers engaging and heartfelt conversations with beloved Kapuso artists and personalities and trailblazing Global Pinoys. It won Best Podcast in the Radio Journalism Award category.
The Migration Advocacy and Media Awards was launched in 2011 by the Commission of Filipinos Overseas. The awards give recognition to the significant role of the media in providing information and serving as a platform in advocating various migration issues and challenges faced by Filipinos abroad.
The awarding ceremony will take place in December 2025.
