FRIENDS Festival 2026 interview

It's an EDM festival with balikbayans in the Philippines!

The thrilling &FRIENDS Festival returns to the Philippines for another electrifying lineup of performances.

True to its identity as an indoor music festival, the event takes place at Okada Manila on June 19 and 20.

During a media roundtable, Clouted Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder Adriel Yong expressed excitement about celebrating EDM music with Filipino fans.

"To look at the line-up and the number of stages we have, it's very, very intentional. We want to make sure that the different emerging collectors and DJs have the chance to start getting into the festival circle," he said.

The festival also shines a spotlight on world-class Filipino talent, with balikbayan Pinoy DJs such as Alan Shirahama, Seduza, Tye Turner, DJ Cupcakes, and ARMNHMR's Joe joining the lineup.

"Well, I'm super excited because I'm Filipino-American and this is the first time I'll be playing in Manila, here in my hometown," Joe shared.

"My family in Japan is here, and my family in the Philippines is also here. So I'm really excited to perform," Alan added in Japanese.

Meanwhile, American music producer and DJ Subtronics said he feels honored to perform in the country for the first time.

"Perpetually blown away that dubstep allows you to travel across to the other side of the Earth to play my songs. Really excited," he said.

Clouted is known for its AI-powered "Virality Engine," which helps entertainment, gaming, and consumer brands automate short-form video marketing.

Through the launch of &FRIENDS Festival, the company aims to showcase emerging talent and introduce diverse music to a global audience.

Now in its second year in the Philippines, &FRIENDS Festival continues to highlight the significant impact Filipino artists are making on the global electronic music scene.
