GOT7's Jay B is kicking off the new year with a new solo album.

On December 31, Jay B announced that he would be making his return with a new EP titled Love. This will be his first official EP as Def.

"I think Def is a more casual version of me. Jay B would show a cooler and prepared side. I'm planning to try many different things other than music as Def," Jay B shared.

In a post, the K-pop idol revealed the cover art of his album, an abstract piece of a couple embracing.

Love consists of six tracks and its physical CD includes a booklet as well as photocards. Def's first EP is available for pre-order from January 5 to 12.

As of writing, the hashtag "GOT7" is trending on Twitter with more than 10,000 tweets. Fans also sent their birthday wishes for Jay B, who turns 28 today, January 6.

Jay B made his solo debut on August 27, 2021 with his first mini album SOMO:Fume.
