By Bianca Geli

All-Out Sundays star Christian Bautista has some helpful tips for Filipinos dealing with the current coronavirus disease or COVID-19 outbreak.

On a Facebook video, Christian said, “I just want to imitate what other people have been saying online how not to panic too much despite these virus announcements.”

“We should always be cautious, we should wash out hands and try not to touch our faces.”

Christian also clarified that fear should not rule over anyone's life. “Pero it should not stop our lives. We can still go out to open spaces para hindi makulob para hindi ka matakot na ma-atchingan o maubuhan.”

“Some TV shows have also disallowed studio audiences for now.”

Joey de Leon on Eat Bulaga's "no live audience" policy: "We don't know how long it will last."

He continued giving simple ways to prevent catching the coronavirus and asked people to avoid hoarding. “Always have a hand sanitizer around, kung possible bring your own soap.”

“Wag mo namang ubusin 'yung nasa grocery. Other people need alcohol and face masks as well.

“Huwag muna tayong mag-shake hands. We can do online stuff as well.

“We can connect, and let's pray na makita agad 'yung virus cure soon.”

In conclusion, taking safety measures without the panic is key.

Christian said, “Don't be scared, don't panic-buy, if you feel feverish have it checked 'wag kayong matakot mas makakatulong kayo if you have it checked kaysa 'yung tinitiis natin 'tapos meron na pala, 'tapos we infect everyone in the household or in the building.

“Always pray, be safe out there. Be kind to one another.”
