Joyce Pring admits she's anxious because of COVID-19

By Maine Aquino

Joyce Pring revealed that she just realized how COVID-19 affected her mental health.

According to the Kapuso host, she discovered how anxious she was when she attended church with her husband, Juancho Trivino.

"I didn't realise how anxious I'd gotten over the COVID-19 pandemic situation until Juancho and I “attended” church earlier @ccfmain livestream."

She added that she doesn't cry too much but she did during worship.

"I was crying so much during the worship (I'm not much of a cryer so this was so weird) and I realised that it was because I've been trying to stay faithful to God -- and trust Him and care for my family and prepare our new home and take care of my Lola and take care of everyone around me and make sure I'm encouraging friends in life and friends online, that I'd completely forgotten to just sit at the feet of Jesus and CRY OUT and just CONFESS my fear and everything I've been feeling.

"It's been crazy, you guys. I've been anxious, my heart has been hurting for people who are sick, people who have been struggling to provide for their family, people who don't know where they will be at financially, JUST HURTING. And it was such a blessing to just cry out to God and pray, and worship Him, knowing that He is sovereign above all and that the presence of trials DOES NOT MEAN His absence."

Joyce gave words of encouragement to everyone, especially during this pandemic.

"I encourage you. Catch up with your soul, and your mind. Take a break from the news, breathe, call out to God and tell Him you are scared and hurting. Pray for this country. Pray for our families. Pray for our communities. Pray for those who are struggling. Pray for our healthcare workers. We are in this TOGETHER."
