Washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds remains to be the most effective protection against the COVID-19 infection. And if you're looking for a new song to sing during handwashing, Yasmien Kurdi recommends her hit single, “I Know.”
Yasmien demonstrated to her daughter Ayesha the proper way to wash her hands. To make handwashing less of a task and a bit more interesting, the mother-daughter tandem also sang the chorus of “I Know.”
The StarStruck alumna explained, “As per CDC and DOH, #handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is very important to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. To make handwashing fun for kids pwede nila kantahin ang chorus part ng “Happy Birthday” song twice. Pero for Ayesha sabi ko, kantahin niya ang chorus part ng “I Know.” After washing your hands dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.”

Yasmien and her husband Rey Soldevilla have been documenting their life during home quarantine. The couple are trying their best to make the situation more enjoyable for their daughter by also playing games and performing music.
