NBA player Rudy Gobert reveals some of the symptoms that he is experiencing after testing positive for 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The Utah Jazz center said in a tweet that he lost his senses of taste and smell after contracting the disease.

He wrote, "Just to give you guys an update, loss of smell and taste is definitely one of the symptoms, haven't been able to smell anything for the last 4 days. Anyone experiencing the same thing?"

In an article posted by American Academy of Otolaryngology on its website, it proposed the addition of anosmia or loss of smell and dysgeusia or distortion of sense of taste to the list of screening tools for possivle COVID-19 infection.

Part of it read, "Anosmia, hyposmia, and dysgeusia in the absence of other respiratory disease such as allergic rhinitis, acute rhinosinusitis, or chronic rhinosinusitis should alert physicians to the possibility of COVID-19 infection and warrant serious consideration for self-isolation and testing of these individuals."

Meanwhile, aside from Gobert, his teammate Donovan Mitchell also tested positive for the virus. Also included in the growing list of NBA stars infected with COVID-19 are Kevin Durant, Christian Wood, and Marcus Smart.
