Did Sexbomb predict COVID-19?

With what's going on right now, the world certainly needs a good laugh, thanks to the internet.

A proof of that is a comical conspiracy theory involving SexBomb Dancers predicting COVID-19 15 years ago.

Media Relations Officer and a recovering COVID-19 patient, Bernardo "Vberni" Regalado, made up the hilarious conspiracy theory referencing the all-girl group's hit song, "Spaghetti."

He posted it on his Facebook account last July 28 and has since become viral.

Vberni stated, "Grabe talaga ang powerful ng Sexbomb imagine 15 years ago alam na nilang magkaka-COVID-19 and even promoted physical distancing!!!

"ISPAGETI IS THE PROOF!!!"

Regalado claimed that "Spaghetti's" lyrics are indications of the highly infectious disease' symptoms such as headache, body pain, shortness of breath, and tiredness.

He quipped, "Imagine nag-apir lang sumakit na ang ulo [headache] sumakit pa ang bewang [body pain], pati dibdib [shortness of breath] at tuhod [tiredness]--proof na sa isang apir lang nata-transmit ang virus at makakaramdam ka ng symptoms!!! OMG SEXBOMB IS SUCH A GENIUS *sinuntok ang pader*"

Regalado then referred to "Spaghetti's" iconic dance movement--rolling of the hips up and down--to remark that the Philippines can't flatten the curve as COVID-19 cases grow exponentially in the country.

Based on the latest report the Department of Health reports 3,462 new COVID-19 cases, nine new deaths, and 222 new recoveries.

This brings the totals to 115,980 confirmed cases, 2,123 deaths, and 66,270 recoveries as of Wednesday, August 5.

"AND YES REMEMBER THAT ISPAGETI PABABA AT PATAAS--they know WE WON'T FLATTEN THE CURVE!!! (Thanks for pointing out Evangello Cyedel!!)," Regaldo concluded.

As of writing, the Facebook post now has more than 48,000 reactions and 28,000 shares.
