Robin and Mariel Padilla get infected with flu
Actor and producer Robin Padilla revealed he has struggled with flu-like symptoms due to a "flu virus" in the past two weeks.
On Instagram, Robin uploaded a video of him getting a swab test. "2 weeks of infection," he wrote in the caption.
He continued to narrate how his family experienced flu-like symptoms in the past weeks, "Walang pinipili ang sakit kaya mag iingat po tayo in shaa Allah.
He also thanked wife Mariel Padilla for taking care of their family despite having breathing difficulties.
Prior to Robin's post, Mariel posted a photo of her recovering in bed while Robin brought her food in her room wearing a face mask and face shield.
Robin's post also showed that he, his wife Mariel, and another family member took a nasopharyngeal swab test for COVID-19, and their results turned out negative.
Earlier this year, Robin and Mariel celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary back in August 2020.
