Claudine Barretto undergoes hand surgery
A bare-faced Claudine Barretto was seen on Instagram on early Sunday, November 22, as she shares with fans that she's about to undergo surgery for her right hand.
In one of her posts, Claudine revealed that she is currently admitted at St. Luke's Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
She told fans, “I am now confined in St. Luke's [Medical City]. I am here at the hospital.
“They're prepping me up already para sa operation ng right hand ko. Please pray for me that everything will be well, and everything goes well.
“I'm going to be okay, and I will keep you posted po. Please pray na maging okay lahat sa procedure and operation ko today.”
While she did not disclose any information about what will be done on her right hand, Claudine cited that it was from an injury she sustained last year during her father's wake.
“Sorry, I look terrible pero if you remember last year, na-ospital ako during my dad's wake,” she explained.
“'Yung right hand ko, medyo nagka-problema.
“I have to have an emergency procedure or operation. So I'm asking everybody to please pray for me and not to worry kasi strong naman ako and kaya ko naman.”
Last year, Claudine and her sister Marjorie had an altercation following their father's burial, which led the former to be confined at a hospital.
Although a bit nervous, Claudine mentioned that her elder sister, Gretchen Barretto, has helped distract her from all her pre-surgery jitters.
“I am really scared but my Ate Gretchen, ever since this morning, she's making me laugh and laugh. At least naging maganda ang araw ko.”
Later that evening, Claudine posted an update to her fans by posting a photo with her brother in her hospital room.
She wrote, “@jjbarretto, thank you for visiting me and taking the risk to check on me. I love you so much.”
