Having experienced anxiety and depression in the past, Heart also emphasized the importance of openly talking about mental health in conversations.

"This is a personal topic for me. I, myself, for what I've been doing for 24 years, all the pressure of show business, and trying to be beautiful, trying not to be scandalous, and all of that.

“That does something to you subconsciously in a way damages your soul. And I do believe that a lot of people are struggling with not just mental, it's deeper than mental, it's like healing your soul.

“I feel that it's something that we should talk about,” she added.

Meanwhile, in an interview with 24 Oras, Heart shared that she was grateful to have the opportunity to discuss a topic that's very personal to her.

“Never in a million years that I was going to be able to be on a certain stage that I could talk about something I'm very passionate about, which is mental health.

“Hopefully I was able to reach someone that needed to hear that,” she said.

Heart said that she developed Burning Tongue Syndrome due to extreme anxiety and depression.
