BTS V is not experiencing any extraordinary symptoms other than a mild fever and sore throat, according to his agency Big Hit.

Global pop icon BTS has one more member who tested positive for COVID-19, Kim Taehyung known popularly as V.

His agency Big Hit Music announced the news of his diagnosis and said, "V visited the hospital Tuesday afternoon on the 15th [Feb. 15] after experiencing a mild sore throat and took the PCR [polymerase chain reaction] test.

"He was diagnosed with COVID-19 tonight [Feb. 15],” the agency said.

V, who has been fully vaccinated from COVID-19, is considered a breakthrough infection. Big Hit Music also mentioned V is not presenting any extraordinary symptoms other than a mild fever and sore throat. Big Hit also said he is "currently undergoing treatment at home while waiting for further guidelines from the health care authorities.”

Big Hit assured that though V had contact with his fellow BTS members on February 12, everyone wore masks and the other BTS members are not showing any symptoms of the coronavirus.

Aside from V, BTS members Suga, Jin, and RM tested positive for COVID-19 in December 2021 while Jimin caught the disease in January 2022.
