Sa isang TikTok video ng I Left My Heart in Sorsogon actress na si Heart Evangelista, saan mapapanood ang kanyang sagot sa tanong ng isang netizen tungkol sa kanyang asawa na si Chiz Escudero.

Nang matanggap ni Heart ang katanungang ito, kilig na kilig siyang nag-reply rito.

“Why Chiz? It's not because I chose specifically that he was older. First and foremost, crush ko na talaga si Chiz ever since, 2007 pa may iba pa akong boyfriend noon when I saw him at a La Union beauty pageant," paliwanag ni Heart.

Pagpapatuloy niya, "When he walked, his presence… Then, he spoke. So, I got to know him, I told Tita Miriam Defensor whom I'm very very close to. She asked me, dapat 'wag na akong mag-date ng artista…to see what's out there. She gave me a list, a list of guys that I should date. And it's funny because a lot of them called me. Of course, I'm not going to say who called me, but a lot of them did. They are equally nice."

Inalala rin ni Heart ang unang pagkikita nila ni Chiz.

"Going back to my story, hindi ko siya nakalimutan and I was introduced to him. In the beginning, para hindi niya ako bet. He was just being very nonchalant, pa-chill. We spoke and spoke, we really got to know each other. And I thought that he was just going to be a friend," saad niya.

"The first time I saw him he was just wearing tsinelas and shorts in a restaurant and ako, super ayos na ayos but that was just before we officially met. So, doon na I got to know him and he is more than what I imagined him to be. How you see him on our adulting videos, that is exactly how he was in real life. So, I really liked that," dagdag pa niya.

Nabanggit din ni Heart ang mga katangian ni Chiz na talagang nagustuhan niya.

"I just thought that he has this sort of gravitas. He was so dignified, and so calm…he was like an encyclopedia. He was nice, he was smart, he was so romantic, eventually. I met a lot of wonderful people, but I just met somebody greater than all of them and I felt that I think this time around I should fight for him."
