Family isn't always defined by blood. It's the love, time, and memories shared that truly create a strong bond.
That rings true for Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista, who has fully embraced her role as a loving mom to Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero's twins, Chesi and Quino.
On her Instagram, Heart Evangelista gave her fans a sweet glimpse into her family life by sharing her heartwarming photos with Chiz and the kids. The twins looked happy and at ease, enjoying quality time with their stepmom and dad.
"They came too. Me growing up with them and them growing up with me," Heart captioned while tagging her kids in the post.
The post quickly drew an outpouring of love, with followers filling the comments with heart emojis and messages of support. Many were touched to see how close and genuine the bond is within their blended family.
Heart happily tied the knot with Chiz in 2015 and celebrated their love once more with a renewal of vows in 2024.
While the couple doesn't have children of their own, Heart has taken on wholeheartedly her role as a fun and loving stepmom to Chiz's twins. She admitted it was a challenge at first to find her place, but over time, she grew to love them as her own.
Since then, Heart has cherished bonding moments with the kids and often joining them on holiday vacations. She also showed her interest in and support to the kids' hobbies, including Chesi's passion for dancing.
