The hit Canadian queer sports-drama Heated Rivalry's Season 2 is officially in the works, but before production starts, the team is reaching out to the show's dedicated fanbase with an important request.

The statement, released jointly by the production company Accent Aigu Entertainment and the show's official accounts, addresses the immense fan enthusiasm while making a direct plea for boundaries on set.

“To our incredible fans and everyone who's been sharing in the excitement for the show: Your support, enthusiasm, and kindness have meant the world to us,” the statement read.

“As we gear up for more Heated Rivalry, please help us in making it the best it can be.”

With fan excitement reaching a fever pitch ahead of shooting, the production crew appealed for courtesy on set.

“If you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best.”

Reassuring eager viewers about what's to come, the team capped off their announcement with a confident teaser: “We promise it'll be worth the wait!”

Following its November 2025 release, Heated Rivalry shattered streaming records and launched Hudson Williams (Shane Hollander) and Connor Storrie (Ilya Rozanov) into global stardom.

The show became a major awards contender, sweeping the Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Drama Series, earning a Peabody Award, and picking up various Television Critics Association Award nominations.

Following the show's success, the two lead stars became red-carpet fixtures at events like the Golden Globes.
