Heath Jornales treated his fans and supporters to a serenade, performing his debut single “Back To You.”
You're My Favorite Song lead star Heath Jornales brought the romance and showcased his musical talent in All Out Sundays' May 17 episode after performing his new debut single titled “Back To You.”
Right after his performance, he was asked by the show's hosts, fellow Sparkle heartthrobs Allen Ansay, Anton Vinzon, Marco Masa, Prince Carlos, and Josh Ford, about the inspiration behind writing his debut single.
Heath shared that he drew inspiration from the stories and experiences of his friends.
“I made it based on the experiences of my friends and 'yung mga kinikuwento nila sa akin,” Heath said.
The young actor was also asked about his future career goals, and he shared that holding a full concert has long been his dream.
“Since I'm really embracing my music po; I really love music, it's my passion po talaga, I really want to experience po 'yung full concert po. 'Yun po 'yung isa sa mga pangarap ko,” he shared.
In a separate video posted on the Instagram accounts of All Out Sundays and Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Heath reached out to his fans and viewers who watched his performance, expressing his hope that they liked his latest and debut single.
“Guys, kakatapos ko lang mag-perform sa AOS [All Out Sundays] ng single ko po called 'Back To You' and I had so much fun and sana na-enjoy niyo rin po,” Heath expressed.
He further explained the meaning and message behind his new song, sharing that it revolves around the theme of loving someone despite repeatedly getting hurt.
“'Yung song ko po is about, I guess how many times na 'yung taong ito rejects you, breaks your heart, you loved them so much that you still fall back pa rin kahit ilang beses kang saktan kasi you love them so much so I guess that's what the song is all about,” he shared.
Heath also shared the casual and unexpected moment that led to the creation of his debut track. According to the young actor, a simple gaming session with a friend unexpectedly turned into a songwriting breakthrough.
“Back story I guess kung paano ko isinulat 'to; I was just playing video games with my friend Gio and then mayroon akong chords na nahanap sa guitar. Nagpe-play lang ako then bigla I found a melody in my head tapos tinuloy ko, sabi ko 'Gio, wait lang, mamaya tayo maglaro, I'm just gonna try to figure this song out kasi it might work.' So 'yun, sinulat-sulat ko tapos biglang nag-go-with-the-glow lang 'yung pagsulat ko like hindi ako nagtagal sa mga lyrics or sa melody,” he said.
