Water service interruption schedule in parts of Metro Manila
Residents in parts of Metro Manila will experience temporary water service interruptions from Monday night to Tuesday morning as both Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. carry out maintenance activities.
In an Unang Balita report on Monday, customers of Manila Water, particularly those within the University of the Philippines (UP) campus, will have no water supply starting 10:00 p.m., Monday, until 4:00 a.m., Tuesday.
The service interruption is due to pipe crossover activities along Palaris Street, in front of UP Bethany Baptist Church.
Meanwhile, Maynilad announced a separate service interruption affecting several barangays in Parañaque City. Water supply will be cut from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. as the company undertakes desludging operations and replaces its ATS system at the Putatan Water Treatment Plants 1 and 2.
Areas expected to be affected include Barangays BF Homes, Marcelo Green, and San Antonio.
Both water concessionaires advised residents to store enough water ahead of the scheduled interruptions to minimize inconvenience. —Sherylin Untalan/AOL, GMA News
