New Yorker and go-getter Frankie Pangilinan revealed that she will launch an online magazine soon titled Simone Says.

Frankie, whose real name is Simone Francesca Emmanuelle Pangilinan, revealed the good news on Twitter yesterday, February 23, as she launches a pre-order of the upcoming journal.

She wrote, “Hey guys, I miss you.

“Just wanted to let you know that my baby is now up for pre-order if you wanted to get one.

“I love you dearly and hope you're all doing well.”

Months in the making

It was in November of last year when Frankie revealed her little side project on Instagram.

She described her online journal as “an archive of art, and a culmination of passions.”

She wrote, “For a while now, I've struggled to properly convey some of my thoughts regarding a range of things--from beauty and fashion to philosophy and politics, all from my still-limited, albeit growing, perspective.

“You may already know the depths of my adoration for the written word.

“To this end, 'Simone Says' is a catalog of growth, a dialogue of exploration and learning while I navigate the world of university abroad, remaining invariably tied to home.”

She even thanked her friends, Christian Olarte and Enrique Marshall, with whom she shared her vision.

“We're bringing it to life. Now, come join the party,” she concludes.

Speaking her truth

Frankie, eldest daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, is known for speaking her mind, especially on Twitter.

She was recently the talk of the town when she admitted feeling guilty about being born into a wealthy family (https://www.gmanetwork.com/entertainment/showbiznews/news/59452/frankie-pangilinan-admits-to-feeling-guilty-about-being-born-into-a-wealthy-family/story).

According to Frankie, “Look the guilt eats away at me every day and I can't do anything about it right now, but I do know it's pushing me and I promise I'm working hard and doing my best to make myself not be a waste of the advantages I was born into.

“I don't know how to apologize for that. But, sorry anyway.”

On Twitter, she also defended her father from President Duterte and admitted having a hard time speaking in English.
