Sheena Halili shows support for Vico Sotto's 'fan base' #Vivico

Kapuso actress Sheena Halili on Friday showed support for #Vivico, a would-be Kpop-inspired fandom built by netizens in support of Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.

In her Instagram post, Sheena, a Pasigueno, shared that she's supporting the fandom and the social media campaign dubbed as #ProtectVico.

She wrote, “Hello Pasig! Hello #Vivico's at sa lahat ng proud kay Mayor Vico. #ProtectVico #Pasig#pasigueñonaman.”

But she also joking clarified that she's a member of Jejeron's club referring to her husband Jeron Manzareno.

“Jejeron's club po ako! Nag-support ako sa Vivico's club dahil nakakaproud po talaga ginagawa niya at nakakatuwa 'yung mga post ng Vivicos. Si Jejeron talaga ang baby coh, phowz! #PasigUmaagosAngPagasa,” she said.

Mayor Vico has been under the public eye these past few days not because of anomaly but of his exemplary leadership and anti-COVID-19 2019 coronavirus disease) proactive initiatives to protect his constituents.

Due to the young politicians's popularity, it has birthed the so-called fans club called #Vivico. It was raised by some Pinoy K-pop fans and now, also Vico Sotto's supporters. #Vivico trended on Twitter on Thursday.

#ProtectVico, on the other hand, trended because of his critics's comments over his plea to the government regarding the resume of operations of tricycles in Pasig.

Those criticisms were fueled by OWWA Deputy Execeutive Director Mocha Uson's re-shared post. As a result, Mocha was slammed by Vico's supporters.

In her defense, the government official cleared her named and denied allegations that she's attacking the Pasig City mayor.
