While the country is battling COVID-19 with Luzon being under enhanced community quarantine,
many netizens are wondering how Senator Juan Ponce Enrile is handling the pandemic especially since the coronavirus is known to seriously affect the elderly.
The senator's grandchild Kris Ponce-Enrile uploaded a TikTok video showing her grandfather practicing social distancing at home while being served with merienda by his grandkids.
The video shows the senator working from a computer when he was suddenly offered a plate of banana bread.
"What is that?" he asked.
"Banana bread," Kris answered.
The senator takes the plate and says, "Thank you, thank you very much."
"I love you," he adds, while waving to the camera.

Several funny memes about the senator's outstanding health despite his old age has also gone viral now that there's a COVID-19 pandemic.
As of April 12, the Department of Health has reported 4,648 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 197 recoveries, and 297 deaths from the disease.
The Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine has been extended until April 30.
