Benjamin Alves and GF, Chelsea Robato, start an online flower shop

Celebrity couple Benjamin Alves and Chelsea Robato just announced the launch of their newest business venture, an online flower shop called the House of Roses.

In a Kapuso Showbiz News interview with Ben, the actor shared the story of how the House of Roses came about.

"Nag-conceptualize siya because parang mas nagising 'yung need mo or 'yung feeling mo na kailangan mo rin may magawa ka or mabuo ka during this time. I didn't think it would be starting up a business but I'm pleasantly surprised na we were able to do it.

"'Yung hindi mo kasi makita 'yung mga loved ones mo, hindi kayo maka-meet. Wala namang pwedeng kainan or something so parang we were thinking of what's the best way to express how you feel without having to interact per se so we found that there's a market for it. Mayroon naman kaming partner na has deep experience with the flower business so yeah, me and Chelsea are the ones taking care of the marketing side. We have a positive outlook on it. It's always nice to create something new," he said.

The House of Roses specializes in Ecuadorian Roses which Ben describes as being more plump and full compared to other types of roses.
