Content creators saw a surge in views during the pandemic because people are at home consuming more online content while in quarantine. Among this year's top trending videos on YouTube Philippines include several videos from actress Ivana Alawi and America's Got Talent contender Marcelito Pomoy.

Marcelito's performance video on America's Got Talent stage is the Philippines' top video of the year. This was posted on January 13, 2020 and has since racked up more than 45 million views.

The second spot went to Raffy Tulfo in Action's prank video featuring Ivana Alawi which has gotten over 25 million views since it's post date on May 12, 2020.

The third top video also features Ivana Alawi, this time on Alex Gonazaga's YouTube channel posted on March 15, 2020 and has garnered over 14 million views.

The fourth spot is the boyfriend prank video on Ivana's channel, featuring DJ Loonyo, posted on April 7, 2020.
