She told KMJS, “Nanlambot talaga ang katawan ko dahil hindi ko akalaing anak ko 'yung nandoon.

Meanwhile, GMA News Online reported that Rachelle's family is in need of financial assistance for her treatment.

Upon seeing the post, Heart sought help from her Twitter followers to find Rachelle.

Animal rights advocate

Heart Evangelista is a great speaker and advocate for animal rights in the country.

In 2017, she expressed her disgust over a scene in the Metro Manila film festival entry Oro, which allegedly showed a scene where a dog was being slaughtered.

Heart said then, “Nakakahiya at nakakagalit. A life is a life and should never be trivialized for the sake of art or what have you. Such a shame!"

In January 2020, when the Taal volcano exploded, the actress-endorser offered help with the rescue mission of the Philippine Animal Welfare Society for those animals affected by this natural disaster.
