Viva Hot Babes, which Andrea del Rosario is a member of, will hold a reunion concert on October 23.
Andrea del Rosario shared her thoughts about being seen as a “sexy symbol” in an episode of TRGGRD!, the official podcast of GMA's ATM (Adventure.Taste.Moments).
“I've been fighting that for time immemorial, but you know, sabi ko, there's no point in fighting it, e. If they want to say that, okay, so be it. Are you happy? If you think I'm a sexy symbol, okay,” the actress and Viva Hot Babes member said.
Andrea said that has been her approach to how people perceive them since it comes with the branding of Viva Hot Babes.
“You're identified to the group, so you cannot disassociate yung ganung pananaw ng tao sa amin,” she continued.
Andrea also highlighted how embracing the label makes it lose its power.
“The more you embrace it, the more it loses its power, kumbaga. I don't want to fight it,” she said.

Andrea is one of the members of the popular girl group Viva Hot Babes, alongside Maui Taylor, Katya Santos, Gwen Garci, Sheree, Jaycee Parker, Ella V., and Jennifer Lee, among others.
Known for their songs “Bulaklak,” “Basketbol,” and “Kikay,” the group is set to stage their reunion concert on October 23 at the New Frontier Theater.
