Carla Abellana's birthday message: “I am grateful for all the wishes, prayers and love.”
Actress-vlogger Carla Abellana is overflowing with gratitude after celebrating her 36th birthday last Independence Day (June 12).
Netizens and celebrities noticed the cryptic post of Carla to mark her special day on Instagram last Sunday, wherein she wrote in the captions, “My Birthday wish is to be happy.”
Two days after her birthday, the Kapuso actress took to Instagram once again to thank everyone who greeted her.
“Hi, I'm sorry I haven't been able to reply to anyone yet.” Carla admitted.
She then added, “Please know that I have read your messages and I wish to THANK YOU for your Birthday greetings. I am grateful for all the wishes, prayers and love.
“I thank God for all of you.”
Last weekend, she also uploaded on her YouTube channel her recent family vacation, wherein they traveled to Singapore for some quality time together.
The past few months have been tough for the drama actress with persistent rumors and showbiz writeups about her allegedly troubled marriage with fellow actor Tom Rodriguez.
Dubbed by their fans as TomCar, the couple exchanged “I Dos” in a beautiful ceremony held at the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas in October 2021.
Carla's father, Rey “PJ” Abellana shared in an exclusive interview in 24 Oras that his son-in-law personally talked to him and discussed what's happening between them.
There hasn't been any official statement from the couple denying or confirming the numerous speculations circulating about their marriage as of this writing.
PJ said on 24 Oras then,“When he came over to talk to me and explain his side, he would cry along with his explanations and everything and he keeps on saying na, he wants his wife back. He wants Carla back. He loves Carla very much that's why they settled down.”
