Here's how you should handrub your hands with alcohol to combat Coronavirus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is among the front liners in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Currently, there are over 100,000 cases of the virus worldwide with over 3,000 deaths. The Philippines has 52 confirmed cases so far, and while there's yet to be a vaccine for the virus, there are helpful ways to avoid contracting the disease.

From wearing face masks, staying away from crowded places, correct hand washing, taking vitamins--there are plenty of ways to build up protection from the Coronavirus.

The WHO has released several ways to keep yourself virus-free including an 8-step way to rub your hands for hygiene to be done for 20-30 seconds.

1. Apply a palmful of the product in a cupped hand, covering all surfaces

2. Rub hands palm to palm

3. Right palm over left dorsum with interlaced fingers and vice versa

4. Palm to palm with fingers interlaced

5. Back of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked

6. Rotational rubbing of left thumb clasped in right palm and vice versa

7. Rotational rubbing, backwards and forwards with clasped fingers of right hand in left palm and vice versa

8. Once dry, your hands are safe
