Here's an idea on how to increase your productivity - try simplifying your decision-making process and build habits.

In a study conducted in 2010, researchers found that an average person makes 35,000 decisions every day. What to eat for breakfast? What shirt to wear? Where to go for lunch?

A simple way to save your brain power is to cut down the number of decisions you need to make. And choosing an outfit can be one of them.

Kapuso star Rhian Ramos figured this out when she was living in New York. She simply wore the same color every day. Black, in particular.

Why? Aside from saving brain power, you'll waste less time.

A go-to outfit saves loads of time shopping because you know what you're looking for. And it turns out it even saves you the hassle of separating clothes when doing laundry.

In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, Rhian shares that she initially heard a rumor that everyone was wearing black in New York.

“I've been going for the past 10 years, and I did notice that people wore a lot of blacks there,” she says.

She added, “ But, when I moved, in the first couple of weeks I was wearing all colors.”

It was only towards the last few months when she transitioned to wearing monochromatic head-to-toe black.

“Everything I wore was black. And I really mean everything! From my outerwear to my sweater, to my thermals, down to my underwear.

Everything was black and I realized that it's a hassle to separate your laundry.”

Moral of the story - wear blacks! Yes, Rhian shares that it includes your sleepwear too. You'll always feel good in what you're wearing no matter what the style.
