The wedding bells are ringing for 'Crash Landing On You' co-stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin!
South Korean stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin confirmed their engagement on Thursday, February 10.
The reel-to-real life couple bared the news through heartfelt messages posted on their respective Instagram pages.
Ye-jin shared a photo of a miniature wedding gown along with the caption, “I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it's an important one. I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes, it's him. Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together. I couldn't imagine! It happened so naturally…But, isn't that destiny? Just being with him, I feel warm and protected. Please help us celebrate the beginning of our future.”
She then expressed how “infinitely grateful” she is to be coming into this next chapter. “To my dearest fans, I have received unconditional love and for a long time now, I thought there's no way to repay it.”
Hyun Bin also announced their engagement through the Instagram page of his agency VAST Entertainment. “I am writing this to inform you about the most important decision of my life - to my fans who have been kind to me in many ways and have given me great care and love. There are people who guessed, right? Yes. I made an important decision to get married and I'm going to carefully step into the second phase of my life.”
He later shared a glimpse of his vows for his bride-to-be, sealing a promise to emulate the love shared by their characters in Crash Landing on You. “Promised with her she always makes me smile. To walk together through the coming days. I'm going to show an excerpt from Jeong-hyuk and Se-ri who were together in the work. I think you'll cheer for our first steps with the warmth and affection you've sent us so far.”
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin confirmed their romantic relationship in January 2021. The pair starred together in the hit South Korean drama Crash Landing On You, which first premiered in December 2019 and ran until February 2020.
Before the series, they starred together in the 2018 film The Negotiation.
