The decade-long wait is over for the first-ever major concert of OPM band I Belong to the Zoo.
After more than a decade of inspiring and emotional songs, I Belong to the Zoo is finally heading to their first major headline show this October!
In an Instagram post, the OPM rock band announced that its milestone event is set to happen on October 24 at the New Frontier Theater.
The five-man band composed of Argee Guerrero on lead vocals and guitars, Simon Clariza and Lee De Verya on guitars, Fere Guerrero on bass, and Paolo "Ow" Owyoung on drums expressed their excitement for their upcoming concert.
“Ito na marahil ang araw na, masasaktan kita,” part of the band's caption read.
Ticket sales for the concert started on July 31, 2026, via Ticketnet. On a separate Instagram post, the band shared that more than 50 percent of the tickets have already been sold in less than 24 hours.
Comments from netizens on their announcement post expressed their excitement, saying that their long wait is finally over.
“Tapos na ang paghihintay,” a netizen commented.
“I sayyyy deserveeee” another commented.
One netizen even answered the band's post, “NOOOOO WAAAAAY! Ready na masaktan kahit heal na.”
Even Jugs Jugueta of OPM band Itchyworms commented multple heart and fire emojis on the band's post.
This isn't the first surprise the band gave their fans. Just last June, I Belong to the Zoo released their newest album, “Always Here,” followed by their collab single with the Pop Rock Princess and newest The Voice Kids coach Yeng Constantino, “Kalimutan Mo Na Lang.”
