OPM singer and former child star Ice Seguerra is gearing up for his grand 35th-anniversary concert titled “Becoming Ice” happening on October 15 at the Theatre at Solaire.
One of the big stars performing in his concert is the award-winning TV host and comedy icon Vic Sotto.
On Facebook, the 1987 Little Miss Philippines penned a heartfelt appreciation post for his Tito Vic.
He began his post by saying that Bossing is like a “father figure” to him.
“Hindi ko alam kung paano ko sisimulan kasi ang dami kong gustong sabihin. I literally grew up alongside this man. Mula Little Miss Philippines ngayon, yung pagmamahal niya sa akin hindi nagbago.
“Our relationship far exceeded what you saw on television. Pakiramdam ko, tatay ko talaga siya. Noong bata ako, sa bahay niya ako nag spend ng weekends kasama ng iba niyang kids.
“He taught me how to play the guitar during breaks ng taping ng Ok Ka, Fairy Ko, siya rin nagturo sa akin mag Tong its (para daw may kalaro siya).”
Ice said in jest, “Sa kanya rin ako natuto ng style pagdating sa girls. Tahimik, disimulado, patingin tingin lang. Hahaha!”
What's more, the "Pagdating ng Panahon" hitmaker also lauded Vic's down-to-earth persona and witnessed his professionalism throughout the years.
He noted, “I watched him kung paano siya sa trabaho. Despite him being a big star, isa lang ang kasama niya sa shoot. Nasa mess hall lang, nakikipagkwentuhan kahit kanino. Parating maaga sa set, never kami pinaghintay. Walang arte, walang yabang. And most importantly, he knows how to take care of us. Grabe siya mag-alaga.”
“I'm blessed na si Tito Vic ang nakasama ko mula bata pa lang. I will always look up to him as one of my mentors, and I will always love and respect him like a father.
“I love you, Tito Vic. Thank you for saying yes to celebrating my 35th year with me on Becoming Ice.”
