Celebrity mom Isabelle Daza shared some photos of her mom, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, to commemorate the latter's birthday.

To celebrate the former beauty queen turned actress's 69th birthday on Sunday, April 5, Isabelle posted a series of stunning snaps of Gloria in her Instagram stories.

It was a celebration of her youth and glory days as Miss Universe.

Meanwhile, Gloria had her international stint in U.S. TV series “Insatiable” as herself in May 2019.

The series is a Netflix show about beauty queens and beauty pageant. It follows the story of Patty Bladell, an overweight-turned beauty queen teenager.

Gloria rose to fame after being crowned Miss Universe 1969, becoming the first Filipina to hold the Miss Universe title.

During the iconic Q and A of the 1969 pageant, she was asked: “In the next day or so, a man will land on the moon. If a man from the moon landed in your hometown, what would you do to entertain him?”

Gloria's answer was simple, straight, and witty. "Oh, just the same things I do. I think if he has been in the moon for so long, I think when he comes over he wants to change, I guess."
