Sparkle artist and former politician Isko Moreno clarified his future plans amidst rumors about his return to politics.
During the grand media conference of the Sparkle World Tour, Isko took the opportunity to address questions from netizens about his political ambitions.
He stated, "I don't think it's on the top of my mind right now. I truly love serving the people. Half of my life, 24 years of working, was dedicated to public service."
Despite stepping away from active politics, Isko revealed that he continues to work behind the scenes, providing ideas and support to government officials.
"In fact, still today I continue to share some ideas to some officials of the country and some localities," he shared.
Further elaborating, the former politician expressed gratitude, saying, "Ngayon ipinagsasalamat ko sa Diyos kung saan man ako ngayon at ipinagpapasalamat ko sa taong bayan for giving me opportunity of service. At hindi iyon mawawala sa puso ko. Hindi ko lang siya masyadong iniintindi ngayon dahil I continue to fulfill my obligation as an artist of GMA 7 under Sparkle."
Isko emphasized his current focus on his career and being a father to his children.
“For the meantime, nag-eenjoy muna ako magbayad sa pamilya ko ng oras. You know, 24 years of my life doing public service, it cannot be denied that a big portion of it is pinagkait ko sa mga anak ko,” he explained.
Isko added as well, “Kaya ngayon siguro for the meantime, maunawaan naman ako ng mga tao na pamilya muna ako. Habol-habol muna nang kaunti."
