It's Showtime host Cianne Dominguez recently faced a traumatic experience after a gay bar dancer and performer known as Ronnie Gray allegedly harassed and attempted to kiss her in her condo unit on the night of April 11.
Cianne's father, John Florendo, posted about the incident. He claimed that Ronnie followed the host to her condo unit where he tried to kiss her. Fortunately, Cianne dodged the advances prompting the suspect to escape.
“Short story is, the suspect followed my daughter to her condo, [forcibly] preventing the door to be closed and held her waist, forcing to [kiss] her,” he added, “Good thing that my daughter is strong enough to [escape]. The suspect ran [afterwards].”
The host also captured a clip of Ronnie while he tried to escape where he even uttered the words “sorry.”
According to John, Ronnie tried to escape and ran along EDSA, but was captured by the officer-in-charge in Cianne's condominium. He was immediately put under the custody of Quezon City Police District 10 and is facing charges of Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) and trespassing.
One of Cianne's friends, Lance, also posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the incident and shared that Ronnie showed “no remorse” and even smiled during the interrogation process where he refused to apologize for the harassment.
He wrote: “Walang karemorse-remorse. Ngumingiti pa habang iniinterrogate. Ayaw pang mag-sorry. Nakakakulo ng dugo. Mabulok sana sa kulungan 'tong hayop na 'to.”
Meanwhile, Cianne Dominguez or It's Showtime management has not released any statements about the matter.
