“Just before Mother's Day in May, I got a call from my friend @ranvelrufino about a Cinemalaya film that @theslingshotstudios was producing. He shared the story, the journey of my character Farida, and told me it was inspired by true events,” kuwento ni Iza.

“I asked, 'Sino ang direktor?' He said, 'Mark Duane Angos.' I smiled right away. 'I know that name! He wrote 'Loving Emily.' I had never met @markangos then, but I was already a fan of his work,” pahayag ng aktres.

“When I read the script, I knew I wanted to be part of this film. Playing Farida felt like God's beautiful Mother's Day gift to me,” sabi niya.

“Every person who worked on this project poured their heart into it. We felt it in every shoot, from Tanay to our unforgettable day in Basilan. To our producers, crew, fellow actors, and everyone behind the scenes, thank you for bringing so much passion and love to this story,” ani Iza.

“It's about every child's right to dream and be given the chance to make those dreams possible,” aniya.

“My hope is that this film reminds us to protect those dreams and to keep showing up for those who need us most."

To everyone I shared this journey with, maraming salamat. It was a short but deeply meaningful one. We've done our work. Now we surrender the rest and trust God's hand to continue guiding this film. Mabuhay.”
