Iza Calzado celebrated her birthday this year full of love, gratitude, and appreciation.
Iza Calzado is a grateful birthday celebrator as she shared how she spent her special day in the “best way [she] could have asked for.”
The versatile actress posted on Instagram snippets of how she spent her birthday this year with her family and loved ones, which started with her daughter Deia's first day of school and dance class. Iza said it was what she wished for that day.
“To see her happy, to be with Ben and our family, and to end the day around the table with good food and people I love dearly. Full of the things that matter most to me. My kind of birthday in this season of my life,” she mused.
Iza highlighted how “birthdays feel different now” as it is not just about her.
“Of course, there is still a part of the day that is mine, but it's no longer just about me. Deia, life, and all the different seasons I've gone through have changed that in the most beautiful way,” she said.
Iza said she also found herself appreciating life differently.
She continued, “The years have shaped me, grounded me, humbled me and, most of all, helped me see more clearly what truly matters. I'm happy with the woman I am becoming, grateful for all that I have and all that I am, and excited for everything that life has in store for me.”
In the latter part of her birthday post, Iza expressed her gratitude to their angels at home, to her family, and to everyone who made her feel loved on her special day.
