Iza turned emotional in remembering her late mother!
Versatile TV and movie actress Iza Calzado had mixed emotions as she marked the birthday of her late mother, Mary Ann Ussher, last Monday (June 12).
Iza, who welcomed her first child with Ben Wintle on January 26 confessed on her Instagram post that so many things are coming into her mind as she commemorates her mother's special day.
The Encantadia star explained, “Mama, your birthday today hits hard. As I cradle my first child in my arms, I can't help but think what it felt like for you to hold me in yours and wonder what it would look like to see my sweet Deia in your loving arms.”
“So many questions I wish I could ask you, so many things I wish I could tell you. I would be so lucky to see you and hug you tight in my dreams tonight,” Iza stated.
“Thank you, Mama, for giving us the opportunity to live in this wonderful world. Enjoy your birthday in Heaven! I love you so much.”
Iza Calzado confirmed the big news that she is pregnant back in August 2022 on her 40th birthday. And in December of the same year, she and Ben celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary held in Palawan.
