Jackie Lou Blanco on her new project: "Now it's a reality."
Jackie Lou Blanco recently shared that one of her long-time dreams has finally come true.
In a recent post, the actress announced that she is part of this year's Virgin Labfest (VLF), an annual festival showcasing untried, untested, and unstaged plays.

“It's been a dream… Now it's a reality! So grateful I am part of VLF this year,” Jackie Lou wrote.
She also revealed that she will star in Lualhati alongside Angel Aquino, Banaue Miclat, Bea Garcia-Choy, Iana Bernandez, and Sarah Monay.
“So blessed to be working with these amazing ladies. Beautifully written by Gab Mactal and directed by Mara Paulina Marasigan,” she added.
According to VLF's official Facebook page, this year's theme is “Hubo't Hubad.”
“Guided by the theme 'Hubo't Hubad,' this year's VLF reflects on the many ways people reveal themselves. It invites audiences to engage with works that expose layers of identity, memory, and vulnerability.
Offering a deeper understanding of the human experience, the country's theater festival of untried, untested, and unstaged one-act plays returns with 12 'virgin' scripts this June 3 to 28, 2026, at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez (CCP Black Box Theater),” the statement read.
