"I'm six years sober. I don't drink alcohol anymore. I've given it up," sabi ng aktor sa pagbisita sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda noong Miyerkules, May 27.
I wouldn't say it is bad, but definitely, it put me in bad situations—as a person and also parang as an actor.
"It's almost like I was relying on it too much na at the end of the day, 'yun na 'yung gagamitin mong tool pang pagpag."
Kuwento pa ng aktor, "When I was younger, I used to live for the nightlife. I used to love the party. I used to love parang inuubos ko 'yung sarili ko. It's almost like it was even more important than work at times for me, parang socializing, friends."
"Honestly, what made me stop was my incident when I had a run-in with the police, nung we had a chase. It was rock bottom for me.
"But, I was very lucky na nu'ng nangyari sa buhay ko 'yon, ABS was there to reassure me na may career was intact, we were still gonna work, so, at least, I was relieved of that.
"But, at the same time, parang I already felt uncomfortable kasi ilang taon na 'ko, then I'm finding myself in a situation like this," sabi niya.

"Yeah, but, like I say, with the rock bottom is an opportunity to rise. Actually, it can be a powerful driving force that will motivate you for success if you use it correctly."
