
It's another Pinoy pride moment for the Philippines, thanks to Filipina singer-songwriter Janine Berdin.
On Instagram, Janine shared a clip of her performance of her original song, “What If I Miss You for the Rest of My Life?”
Along with her heartfelt serenade, the Pinay singer also revealed the unusual story behind how she created the song.
"I wrote this song while sh1tting on the toilet & now I got to sing it on the Wish Bus,” she wrote.
Followers quickly expressed their love and support for Janine, including global stars Demi Lovato and Lauren Jauregui.
“Holy shit,” the Demi commented.
Janine quickly replied, thrilled to receive a reaction from the American singer.
“I SING AND WRITE BECAUSE I GREW UP WANTING TO BE JUST LIKE YOU,” Janine replied.
“I CANT BELIEEVE YOU HEARD ME SING IN THIS LIFETIME……. I used to be just a kid from Cebu Philippines and now I'm also signed to island records PH. Thank you thank you thank you ms Demi I love you I can't fit my love in one comment I love you Ms Demi…salamat kaayo madam,” she added.
Meanwhile, Lauren also praised the Pinay singer with a brief comment: “Siiiing.”
Janine is known for her songs such as "Sitwasyonship," "HAYUP KA," "ANTOXIC," and many more.
She also created hits with other OPM stars, including Adie in "Mahika," Arthur Nery in "Mikasa," and The Juans' "Ano Ba Talaga Tayo?"
Recently, she performed the official anthem of MPL Philippines Season 17 titled “Palag Na 'To.”
