Jasmine Curtis-Smith finally gets to bond with her niece, Dahlia Amelie, after her sister Anne Curtis-Smith and husband Erwan Heussaff spent over a year in Australia.
Anne gave birth to Dahlia Amelie in Australia in March 2020. Unfortunately, they have extended their stay in the land down under due to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this reason, Jasmine was not able to see her niece right away until they came home earlier this month.
On Jasmine's birthday greeting for her Anne, the Kapuso actress shared a photo with her ate and her niece, where they seem to be having fun in the pool.
In an interview with the former Descendants of the Sun actress, she told GMA Network how much excited she was to meet Dahlia Amelie, "Always naman 'yan when it comes to family, there's nothing like it.
"I'm just excited, I guess there's no other word to best describe it. I'm just happy they're here."
In a previous interview, Jasmine shares how she sees herself as an aunt to Dahlia Amelie.
She said, "When I had a younger cousin, I already felt so addicted to taking care of that cousin, what more if pamangkin ko.
"Feeling ko 'pag wala akong work, tambay ako sa house nila, nag-aalaga or inaagaw 'yung baby feeling ko."
