Bilang ambassador ng World Vision Philippines ay lalahok si Descendants of the Sun actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith sa isang Virtual Run for Children, na nagsimula na nitong June 15 at tatagal hanggang July 31.

Layon nitong makalikom ng pondo para sa mga batang nangangailangan ng suporta ngayong papalapit na ang pagbubukas ng klase.

Makalalahok si Jasmine sa Virtual Run sa pamamagitan ng isang running app kung saan pwedeng i-track ang layo ng natakbo. Kailangan lamang itong i-register sa takbo.ph.

Jasmine Curtis-Smith joins World Vision's Virtual Run for Children

“When you run, you run for the children. This year, we just want to emphasize the two things that we are running for that people can choose.

“So 'yun nga ang kanilang edukasyon at pati na rin 'yung kanilang health and nutrition,” aniya.

Hinikayat din ni Jasmine ang kanyang followers na lumahok sa nasabing event upang mas marami ang malikom na donasyon para sa mga nangangailangan.

Bukod dito, isa rin si Jasmine sa mga producer ng newly-released song na “With A Smile” ni Bea Lorenzo. Ito ay cover ng original song ng bandang Eraserheads na ginamit naman ng Department of Tourism (DOT) bilang COVID-19 campaign.

“Lahat ng kikitain dito ni Bea Lorenzo will go straight towards UP National Institute of Health, 'yung mga unang nag-develop ng test kits natin.

“We want to be able to share her earnings para makapag-produce pa tayo ng test kits at we can help more people,” dagdag pa ni Jasmine.
