Jaya was happy to sing the praises of her daughter Sabriya on her Instagram account. See her performance here:
Jaya was every bit the proud mother as she flexed her daughter's drumming skills on her Instagram account.
She posted a video of her daughter Sabriya playing the drums at what appears to be a worship service.
In the caption, Jaya expressed her amazement at her daughter's “God-given” drumming talent, despite having only started playing the drums. She also shared that her daughter has been putting all the musical instruments she's asked from them to good use.
Jaya also called her daughter an inspiration, saying that her “positive, relaxed, and involved” attitude is contagious to everyone around her.
She also reminded her daughter to be proud of her culture and to always show respect and kindness.
Sabiya, for her part, commented on the post, saying her mother's Instagram post made her tear up when she saw it during her math class.
Previously, Jaya had sent her son Dylan off to his first day in middle school. The singer was equally emotional in that video. Earlier in the month, Dylan had also been accepted as a football player.
