Kapuso actor and singer Jeff Moses is gearing up for his brand-new musical after it was announced that he will be part of the new production Bongga Ka, 'Day! The Annie Batungbakal Musical.

The musical play features some of the finest and most-talented showbiz personalities like Anthony Rosaldo, KD Estrada, Atasha Muhlach, and Sam Concepcion.

In his exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com, he didn't expect to bag the role of Romer Pasion with 400 people, who came to audition.

Jeff shared, “That's why I was genuinely surprised and grateful when I found out I got the role. I'm really happy to have the opportunity to portray Romer, and it's an honor to share this journey alongside Sam Concepcion and Anthony Rosaldo.”

Hearing how the story of Bongga Ka, 'Day! will unfold, the Sparkle actor stated that doing this musical is the right fit for him.

“Ever since I did Bagets: The Musical, I think I got bitten by the theater bug. I really fell in love with the craft, and ever since then, I've wanted to do more musicals. When I heard about the auditions for this production, I immediately told my handler that I wanted to audition.” The actor-model remembered. “I was so interested in portraying Romer, and I knew from the get-go that this musical was going to be a big hit because of its beautiful music and vibrant story.”

Now that they are in the midst of rehearsals for their opening night in September 2026 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Jeff expressed his excitement to further hone his talents to effectively portray Romer.

“I'm really excited for rehearsals. I'm looking forward to bringing my best self every day and giving life to Romer in the most honest way I can. I can't wait for everyone to step into our world and experience this beautiful story with us.”
