Jennie Kim's label Odd Atelier clarifies that her official fan club name is not "Rubies."

BLACKPINK member Jennie Kim's agency Odd Atelier has made a statement clarifying misunderstandings regarding Jennie's use of the term "Rubies" while referring to her fans.

Jennie has shared a link for the website jenn.ie on her Instagram bio, which leads to a prompt to create an account before being led to an audio clip of Jennie calling fans “Rubies.”

The six-second recording has Jennie saying, “Hi Rubies, it's Jennie. Stay tuned and see you soon. Love you, Bye!"

The website's launch led to Jennie going trending on X, with “Jennie is here” and #JNKERASTART being among the trending topics on the platform.

Korean media reported Odd Atelier sharing a statement, "The term was randomly used to refer to the fans on a one-time basis, and this does not mean that it is Jennie's official fan club name."

In early September, Jennie signed a deal with Columbia Records in early September and is set to unveil her new solo single in October.

Jennie made her official debut in 2016 with BLACKPINK. In 2019, she released her first single "SOLO." Her second single, "You & Me," was released in October 2023. Two months later, she launched her own label, Odd Atelier.

Jennie also made her Hollywood debut in 2023 in the drama series The Idol. She broke records when she collaborated with The Idol co-stars The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp for the song "One of the Girls," which has been streamed over one billion times on Spotify. She is also currently starring in the Korean reality show My Name is Gabriel.
