
Jennylyn Mercado surprised her fans and followers after she was revealed as part of the selection committee of the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night held on Saturday, May 2, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The actress and entrepreneur was introduced as the president and CEO of DLN Skin, the pageant's official liquid foundation skin tint partner. DLN Skin is a beauty, cosmetic, and personal care brand set to be launched soon.
Joining Jennylyn in the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night selection committee were former national titleholder Gazini Ganados, who won Miss Universe Philippines 2019.
Other personalities from entertainment, media, fashion, business, and beauty who served as finals judges were Villa Medica Philippines founder Crystal Jacinto, GMG Productions CEO Carlos Garcia Candal, Miss Universe Asia 2025 Zhao Na, Cosmopolitan Philippines executive editor Ida Aldana, MEGA Magazine EIC Peewee Reyes Isidro, fashion designer Rhett Eala, Belo Group of Companies co-chairman Dr. Hayden Kho Jr., and Suyen Corporation VP Bryan Lim.
Meanwhile, Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo was part of the Miss Universe Philippines preliminary selection committee this year.
From a field of contestants representing 51 localities, Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026. She will go on to represent the country at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant, set to take place in Puerto Rico later this year.
