If there's one person who is always rooting for beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo, then it's none other than her boyfriend Jeric Gonzales.
The Start-Up PH actor took to Instagram Story to show his support for Rabiya, who hosted the Chika Minute segment in last night's broadcast of the flagship news program.
In her interview with GMANetwork.com, the newbie Kapuso star expressed her excitement for the opportunity given to her by her home network to host Chika Minute.
She said, “I was very happy kasi as a person, madaldal talaga ako. And when I was having a meeting with my team, with my management under Sparkle, napag-usapan din na I really want to do hosting.
“Kaya parang a few days after noong meeting, na-pinch hit na 'to na may possibility na I can do a segment for Chika Minute. Kaya hindi ko po sasayangin 'yung opportunity,”
Meanwhile, in her Instagram post this Wednesday afternoon, she described her hosting experience of the showbiz segment as a way for her to go out of her comfort zone.
Rabiya posted, “So blessed to be the guest Chika Minute anchor yesterday in @24oras. It's so exciting and refreshing to do something new outside your comfort zone. Forever thankful to all the people who continue to believe in me and see my potential.”
In addition, it was also announced yesterday that the former Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is now part of the star-studded roster of Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
