Jerry Yan F4 concert in Manila

Jerry Yan was met with cheers and warm farewells from Filipino fans as he departed Manila following the successful F Forever 1st World Tour concert in Bulacan.

The love for Jerry Yan remains as strong as ever among Filipino fans.

The Taiwanese star received a heartfelt send-off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after his visit to the Philippines for the F Forever 1st World Tour concert.

In a video shared by the Jerry Yan News Update Facebook page, fans could be seen gathering at the airport to catch one last glimpse of the actor before his flight. Supporters waved, cheered, and took photos and videos as Jerry made his way to the departure area.

The warm reception highlighted the enduring popularity of the Meteor Garden star, who continues to enjoy a loyal fan base in the Philippines more than two decades after the hit drama first captured audiences across Asia.

Jerry Yan recently returned to the country for the F Forever 1st World Tour concert held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on June 27. He was joined by fellow F4 members Vic Chou and Vanness Wu, along with Ashin, the lead vocalist of Taiwanese rock band Mayday.

The concert featured some of F4's most beloved hits, including "Jue Bu Neng Shi Qu Ni," "Yan Huo De Ji Jie," "Di Yi Shi Jian," and "Meteor Rain." Each artist also treated fans to solo performances throughout the show.

Concertgoers were also introduced to newer songs such as "Forever Forever," co-created by Ashin and Mandopop superstar Jay Chou, as well as "Always Be My Bro," which brought all four performers together on stage.

F4 became one of Asia's most iconic groups through the phenomenal success of the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. The series premiered in the Philippines in 2003 and quickly became a cultural sensation.

The show starred Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and the late Barbie Hsu.

In the drama, Jerry portrayed Dao Ming Si, the wealthy and strong-willed leader of F4 whose romance with Shan Cai, played by Barbie, became one of the most memorable love stories in Asian television history.

More than 20 years later, the overwhelming support shown at both the concert and the airport proves that Jerry's connection with Filipino fans remains as strong as ever.
