Jessica Sanchez is embracing life as a first-time mom while gearing up for a concert tour that will kick off in the Philippines.

One of the things bringing joy to American singer Jessica Sanchez these days is being a mother to her daughter, Eliana.

In fact, during an online conference held on Friday, March 13, the America's Got Talent champion said that her favorite question these days is about being a first-time mom.

“That's my favorite question. I love it. It's the most amazing thing,” Jessica said.

It's the biggest challenge, I think, I've ever gone through. It taught me how to be a stronger woman and I love it. I love my baby girl and I love being a mom.”

As a singer-mom, she often sings to Baby Eliana, especially when she was still pregnant with her.

She recalled, “It's so funny. Here's a little story. When I was in AGT, and I sang 'Golden Hour,' that's the song that she would really kick every time I sing it.

“Now that she's here, when we play it on YouTube, she calms down. Every time she's screaming, when we play it, she stops crying.

“She actually really enjoys my singing, which is actually really sweet.”

Aside from “Golden Hour,” she said her daughter also currently likes the hit song “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” by Olivia Dean.

“When I sing 'So Easy [To Fall in Love],' she just stops, stares at me, and then giggles," Jessica said with a laugh.

Meanwhile, Jessica admitted that being a mother is now one of the biggest considerations in whatever work decisions she makes.

This includes her upcoming concert tour, which will begin in the Philippines in May.

“The preparation is crazy,” said the celebrity mom.

“I thought it was crazy that I was singing nine months pregnant on AGT. This is like a whole new level. You know, being a new mom really strengthened me. It's been fun and exciting.

“It's crazy, too, just trying to navigate my days because not only I'm a new mom, but I'm also working on an album and a Tagalog EP and getting ready for the concerts, and other gigs going on. I'm just trying to do my best.

“It's been a little bit crazy, but I'm so grateful and blessed for these opportunities. I just can't wait to land in the Philippines and do an amazing show and, you know, celebrate with you, guys.”

For now, there are still no confirmed places that Jessica will visit following her Philippine concert.

She mentioned that she made sure the tour would start in the Philippines as a way of thanking her Pinoy fans.

“I really want to start with the Philippines. I'm super excited to kick it off in the Philippines. It's gonna be an amazing show. I'm super, super excited,” she said.

She also expressed deep gratitude to the Filipino community that has continued supporting her since her first stint on America's Got Talent 20 years ago.

“I am just grateful. I cannot find the words to explain how grateful I am. I have been on this journey— People have seen my story and me grow up on TV. I cannot thank every single supporter enough for following me through these many years.

“I mean, when I say it's been 20 years since I was on AGT, it has been truly 20 years and that is a long time to stick by somebody's side. So, I am so, so grateful for the support, for the love.

“That's why I really wanna kick off this concert in the Philippines and do a Tagalog EP because just as the Filipino community embraces me, I want to embrace them back and give them all that I have and put them first in this. I am extremely grateful,” Jessica concluded.
