Jessica Sanchez saw her younger self while serving as a judge on It's Showtime.

After achieving a grand victory on the global stage, Jessica Sanchez continues to soar with her vocal prowess and determination to achieve her dreams.

She also continues to inspire audiences with her talent both on and off stage, sharing her passion through various events and performances.

Recently, the Filipina-American singer was admired in a different light as she stepped onto the stage not as a contestant, but as a judge.

In It's Showtime's talent segment “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” Jessica had the opportunity to serve as one of the respected “hurados” alongside OPM personalities Yeng Constantino, Jed Madela, and Jonathan Manalo.

The America's Got Talent Season 20 champion shared insights and advice with the contestants, further inspiring Filipino viewers.

During a press conference, Jessica reflected on her experience as a “hurado,” describing it as unforgettable and deeply nostalgic.

“That just brought me back because when I was living in San Diego, they had a competition called 'Tawag ng Tanghalan.' I actually performed there as a baby girl. I was maybe around 7 years old,” she reminisced.

Having grown up joining talent competitions, especially within the Filipino community, Jessica has remained grounded in her roots while continuing to pursue her dreams.

“I have been in the Filipino community or space for such a long time. It was a really huge part of my music journey and my upbringing. It's really special to me,” she said.

“I think younger me would be very, very proud. We've come so far, and I have gone through so much in my career behind the scenes with producers and record labels. No matter what, I can say I never gave up.”

Jessica admitted that she faced haters and discrimination throughout the years. However, she remained firm in her belief to “refuse to settle” and “refuse to give up.”

With the warmth and support she continues to receive from fans, the singer has become even more eager to inspire others through love, passion, and determination.

Meanwhile, Jessica is preparing to give back the support and love she has received from Filipinos through her homecoming concert on May 16 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
