
The Clash Season 3 grand winner Jessica Villarubin has received her first international recognition.
The Cebuana Power Diva's single "Beautiful" was recognized by American boutique media company VisionQuest Sound, remarking "Jessica brings smiles and empowerment with her new single."
The Los Angeles-based company published a music blog on their website by Hollywood vocal coach Lee Lontoc, who reviewed the song to which he said "could be a hot number."
"Vocals and production are spot on and I love her energy! Jessica's voice embodies beauty, grace, power and style.
"Put these qualities against a catchy song like 'Beautiful' and you've got a winner!
"This song could be a hot number this summer with the right push," said Lee.
Lee has shared the stage with some of the biggest musical acts like George Michael, Jermaine Stewart, Manhattan Transfer, Chick Corea, and The Brecker Brothers.
Lee also had the pleasure of working with some great singers and actors including Irish-American actress Saoirse Ronan, Melanie Brown of Spice Girls, Mike Dirnt of Green Day, American actresses Shannon Elizabeth and Emma Caulfield, the team behind US series The Magicians, and many others.
"Beautiful" is arranged by Adriel Zachary Yokingco and written by Marie Elisha Rodriguez, with music mixed and mastered by Dean Russell. It is produced by Paulo Agudelo under GMA Music.
Meanwhile, "Beautiful's" music video is directed by award-winning TV and film director Louie Ignacio.
Jessica is the third grand champion of The Clash, after Golden Cañedo and Jeremiah Tiangco.
